Timothy Mims, MD, attended Ross University School of Medicine, and received his medical degree in 1999. Furthermore, he conducted his residency in anesthesiology at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York City. In addition, he completed his fellowship training in pain management at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, New York Presbyterian Hospital, and Hospital for Special Surgery. In addition, Dr. Mims received board certification in anesthesiology and pain medicine from the American Board of Anesthesiology. Over the years, he was honored with multiple awards, including being listed among Castle Connolly’s Top Doctors, as well as Vitals’ Compassionate Doctor Recognition (2016, 2018), On-Time Doctor Award (2018), and Patients’ Choice Award (2018). He dedicates his spare time to wrestling with his dog, his family, and working in the yard. He is also an avid runner and cyclist and has completed two iron man triathlons.
